On our travels around the world, we decided to stay in the UK this year for Christmas...
We had a special and wondrous stay on Christmas Eve, in one of the most prestigious hotels in Manchester – The Hilton Hotel, Deansgate. On arrival we walked through the main lobby doors to be greeted with a beautifully spacious reception with an enormous and refined Christmas tree adorning the entrance with the Christmas Spirit! Friendly and welcoming staff checked us in and provided us with details of the hotel and room keys.
The Manchester Hilton Deansgate Hotel is famous for its Cloud 23 bar which on the 23rd Floor overlooks the whole city – with an outstretched view you can see for miles. Sophisticated and ornate, the Cloud 23 bar has a lengthy waiting list for non guests. As invited guests of the hotel we were lucky enough to be able to walk straight through, and with exclusive access to the executive lounge area.
The Hilton has all the modern features you’d expect from a five star hotel – contemporary gym, Living Well Health Club, swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room, cocktail bar, executive lounge, fabulous restaurant area, wifi, modern luxury rooms with beautiful bedding and stylish shower rooms, and great windows which provide a first-class view of the city.
The Hilton is located right in the centre of the city within walking distance of all the major facilities, bars, restaurants, and shopping areas. This makes it an easy place to travel to (i.e., a short walk from the train station or 23 minutes from the airport) but also to visit to all the vibrant areas of the city, such as Castlefied, Deansgate, and attractions (such as the famous Manchester Christmas Market). The Hilton is also well known for holding events, meetings and conferences, with plenty of meeting rooms and Deansgate Suite which can hold up to 600 people.
So if you are looking for a reliable world famous luxury hotel, then the Hilton is a great place to stay.
